I have multiple payments of items on MSFT store on my EE phone bill !!!

Hi,

I dont know what to do about some unauthorised payments made using my sons phone number to purchase items on the Microsoft Store, I have 7 payments all for the same amount of £31.99 each over 5 min period ! my son has no record of these transactions on his
account and no record on his phone?? Does anybody know if they have had this problem before ??

when a charge is made via phone they send you a text which you have to respond to, this then allows something to be charged to your phone bill.

a third party cannot do this without the text being confirmed via your phone.

it could be an issue with your cell provider which i would call them to find out what is going on.

hi, i have and they said they dont have any details only the ref numbers and amounts, i think the only reason they stopped was the government capping of £240 on a uk mobile accounts?

Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on how to deal with these unauthorized charges. Since this is something to do with billing and is more of an account specific issue, I would definitely try getting in contact with

customer support to see if they can lay out all the options they have available for things like this.

Could I ask Microsoft to look at the transactions so they can verify that is was not purchased on my Xbox account and then they can see that we did not buy these things ?

I know GDPR but i dont need to know who just that it wasnt me !!

Just so you know I am an Xbox Ambassador and have had a xbox live account for over 9 years ! so i am unlikely trying to pull a fast one !

Ive tried this 5 or 6 times and never receive a call! I am however able to purchase things of a lesser value? Is there a limit?EE are telling me there is nonissue their end
