I have Minecraft: Java Edition but it says BUY NOW

It started when I was trying to play minecraft and ask me to log-in again which I did, but when I did the minecraft launcher closes and nothing is happening.

So, I went to minecraft website and log-in using my microsoft account, but to my surprise it ask me to verify my microsoft account again, which I did, after I verified my account, it directed me to set up my gamer tag that I never encounter or have before. So, I set up my gamer tag and in the minecraft website, it says BUY NOW in minecraft: java edition which I already have before.

I went to minecraft launcher ang log-in using my microsoft account, and it still says BUY NOW.

I migrated my mojang account to microsoft and it works perfectly fine, not until I encounter the gamer tag thingy. I used the same email, same microsoft account. I'm pretty sure I'm not using other emails.

I did. Not sure how to exactly check, but it says 'Buy Now' on each of the games, including Minecraft: Java Edition.

Same thing happend to me but i bought the Minecraft java and bedrock sold together but it still says i need to buy Minecraft Java Edition

I understand and I believe you on that but this is just based on what happened when you try logging in to the Minecraft website as it was asking you for another Xbox profile for some reason which means that the Microsoft account has not been used yet for Xbox profile. But for this, it would be best to reach out with Mojang so that the game can be checked on your Minecraft account before.

Like what I said, I used the same microsoft account, check the picture attached above for proof. I didn't use any different microsoft account. I already checked the migrated email, and I use the correct email but somehow, I don't have my minecraft: java edition.

Got it! Yes, this can only be migrated to one Microsoft account and after the migration, you cannot connect it to another account anymore. Thanks for reaching out.
