    Hello,

    I have the original Flight Simulator 2004 in CD (4 CDs) and some compatible hardware (Saitek X52 flight joysticks) to play with it.

    My son (who is 11) wants to use the simulator in an old compatible PC that I still have but when installing it we have noticed that the CD 4 is unreadable by the CD reader so the installation cannot complete. Obviously, it's quite old version of Microsoft Simulator 2004 but I would like to be able to reinstall it in that computer so my son can start enjoying Flight simulator with the joysticks (

    Unfortunately, I don't have any backups done as the CDs were working correctly in the past and they were in great state. It was now when I tried to reinstall it when we realized this issue was happening.

    I have the original box with the COA (Certificate of Authenticity) in it. If required, I can share the numbers.

    It would be great if I could recover, at least, that CD 4 so I could enjoy again this great piece of software.

    the oldest version of flight simulator that is isflight simulator X which you can purchase on steam

    Additional information:

    1. It shows me "Feature transfer error"

    2. I use windows 10

    3. this is brand new physical flight simulator and it contains 10CDs. And last time it stuck with cd 9. Is it possible to continue installing from cd9?

    4. I didnt try another PC, but I bought new PC just only for flight simulator.

    5. There is only one external disc reader

    6. I didnt try all sequence from your article because I cant reach CD number 10. It took half day to reach CD number 9. I just want to know if I can continue to install from last stucked cd
