Discus and support i have lost my game file by a file corruption in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; when opening the game and waiting for it to load the game save it poped up to have a game save corruption and now i am unable to playing the save. i...     i have lost my game file by a file corruption


    when opening the game and waiting for it to load the game save it poped up to have a game save corruption and now i am unable to playing the save. i have made in game purchases and that is gone as well.

    Thinking About Buying It

    I really liked the first borderlands, until the moment i tried to get the trophies... DLC included... and my save file got corrupt 2 times because of blackouts, which made me lost around 70 hours of progress total.

    I now hate the series.

    Apps not loading

    contacted customer service..had 1 corrupted file....deleted it...cleared cache...deleted profile only....restarted console...downloaded profile again....then everything worked

    to find the corrupted file...go to settings hard drive and look for each possible file...the corrupted file has a warning sign.
    clearing cache - hard drive...press Y - did that 3 times

    I just fixed this on my system by renaming my C:\Users\(Name)\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MicrosoftSolitaireCollection_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\DiskCache.bin file to DiskCache.old. The file is recreated when launching the game. State is stored in a
    separate file, so is not lost. It looks like the file was corrupted when I lost my WiFi connection.

    okay I went out and bought another hard drive but as I was moving files it says I have a corrupted profile. Is there any way of fixing that? I dont want to move corrupted files onto my new hard drive. Does this mean all my saved games are lost?

    Being able to have multiple save files when one gets corrupted WOULD save the problem. The problem lies within the game crashing and pulling the save from the cloud. If I had 2-3 save files...when the game crashes and reloads...I can load one of my save
    files (not the default as that one is now corrupted) and bam....I've lost nothing but the little bit of time I'd been playing that day.

    I have an other one actually. It's old, though. Back when Final Fantasy VII came out, the 8mb memory card I had was completely full, so I only had one save slot for the game. I had a couple hundred hours in to it. I had pretty much everything. Gold Chocobo,
    Knights of the Round, all that good stuff. I had finally got my team to a place where I felt like I could take on the emerald weapon and was ready to do so.

    But it was storming pretty hard so I figured I would save my game and go back to it later so no accidents occurred while saving. I got to a save point, started saving my game, during which, lightning struck nearby and made the power in my house flicker.
    Save file corrupted.
