I seem to have lost all audio on my games but still have it on the Xbox menu screen. I tried the reset option and audio options but still not worked. Anyone else having the same issue or know how to fix it?

I have lost audio on my games.

Thanks for trying it. Some players reported that this issue started to happen after the recent update but unfortunately, there's no known workaround for this at the moment so what I can recommend is to report this issue directly to Xbox Team by following the steps on this link; https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/account-pro... and hopefully, they'll patch this up on the next update.

I have lost audio on my games.

    Hi, thanks for the message.

For some reason I can hear the game through headphones but not through the TV? I haven't changed any settings so not sure why this would be the case as I've never had to use headphones before.

Hi and thanks for reaching out. I hope you’re doing well. I'm an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you and I'll be happy to help you.

    Please follow the steps below to try to fix the issue;

    1. Restart your Xbox

    - Restarting your console can sometimes resolve minor issues and may help fix the audio problem you're experiencing. To restart your Xbox, press and hold the power button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts off, then press the power button again to turn it back on.

    2. Check your audio settings

    - Make sure that your audio settings are set correctly on your Xbox. To do this:

Go to the home screen and select "System" from the main menu.

Select "Settings" and then select "Audio output."

Confirm that the "Headset format" is set to "Stereo uncompressed."

If you are using a TV or other display device, make sure the audio output is set to "HDMI" and the "Audio language" is set to the language you prefer.

    3. Check the audio cables

    - Make sure that all of the audio cables are securely connected to your Xbox and your TV or audio receiver. If you are using an HDMI cable to connect your Xbox to your TV, try using a different HDMI cable or a different HDMI port on your TV to see if that resolves the issue.

    4. Check for updates

    - It's possible that there is a problem with the software on your Xbox that is causing the audio issue. To check for updates, go to the home screen and select "System" from the main menu. Then select "Updates" and follow the prompts to install any available updates.

    5. Try using a headset and see if you can hear your game sounds.
