Hello, Thanks for posting on Microsoft forum. As it got into the device, that might be a problem i would recommend submit it for repair. But if i remember correctly water damage isn't part of the warranty agreement so you might have to pay for repair.

it will most likely be dead or will need to go to a third party repair as microsoft wont touch it if its liquid damaged.

To my understanding, the likes and comments that were applied were strictly applied to the pinned screenshot. With it being removed, it's like clearing the slate. There would be no way to reapply those unfortunately.
