I have installed OSU1 after black screen and unaceptable startup times. Worked 6HRS

I greatly appreciate the response and your time. I cannot open or close any program, it boots to no signal. After installing OSU1 I have got it to consistently make it to safe mode, aka pressing the Xbox button and signal button simultaneously. I was able
to get it to "finish updating". Then, it went to a screen asking for the language and region, then 720p or 1080p. I selected 1080 for the TV it works on. And it booted back to no signal and black screen. So I ran it again, this time selecting 720p. However,
the same result. I'm guessing the HDD is fried.

Same here, Xbox one X bought at D-1, on december starts to sign errors, black screen, freezes and lag.

Sent to support after christmas and back to me after 15 days, (i'm thinking they only reset my console, thing that i've done many times by myself) after a week, the same problem, today i'll send it back to the support again.

30 days to the support, less time spent with me...

They said that if i want, they send me another console with the charge of 400 or 500€ and when they recive mine, they give my money back.

Really unaceptable ...

Im having the exact same issues as you guys. Haven't sent it in for repair yet. I have factory reset the console 5 times wiping all data and for a while it will work normally again, at least until there is some data on the internal drive and then off it
goes. Random lockups, startup errors. Installs never completing and everything error coding. I thought it might be software, but reading these comments looks like #Ill need to send it back.

none of the above tips have helped me either. screen stays black after startup...

The power button on my Xbox started flashing when it got to the startup screen after that the screen turned black and it booted up normally

This will also ensure that the proper team sees your post and can help you out. Also, make sure you look at the list of known issues to see if there is a workaround.

If you haven't already, be sure to report any issues via the preview app on your console, so that all relevant data gets reported to Microsoft.
