    I have game pass core yet I can’t play siege.


    I have game pass core and I owned siege but it kept saying i needed to own the game to play it whenever i went to click on it to play. so after resetting my xbox twice i tried to delete and reinstall the game but now it won’t let me redownload saying that i need game pass ultimate even though i already bought core. please help

    Rainbow Six Siege is not included with Game Pass Core.

    I'm sorry you are experiencing issues playing Rainbow Six Siege.

    With the exemption of free-to-play games like Fortnite, Warzone, Apex Legends, etc, all console games, purchased or not, require an active subscription to either Xbox Game Pass Core or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate (includes Game Pass Core) to play online on the Xbox Network. This also applies to physical copies of games.

    If you don't have an active subscription to Xbox Game Pass Core or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, this would be the reason why you are being prompted to choose a subscription plan when trying to play Rainbow Six Siege.

    To clarify:

    • Offline/story/campaign modes can be accessed without a subscription, it's just online features that require one.

    • Game Pass Core is what Xbox Live Gold used to be, it's just that It was renamed and restructured to offer additional services in addition to online gaming.     i have bought xbox game pass ultimate and it hasnt included xbox live in it. i bought 3 months of it so i can play multiplayer games with xbox live and it has only given me the game pass???

    Have you tried playing online multiplayer in a game yet? Game Pass Ultimate includes Game Pass Core (Gold), Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass, EA Play & Cloud Gaming.

    Are you saying you have payed for Game Pass Core? If so, then Game Pass Core does not get released until September, which is why you cannot play Forza Horizon 4. It's still Xbox Live Gold. The games you would get as part of Game Pass Core are not availble yet to you until September.
