Is this happening to all your games? And do you also owned these games you try to play?

If it is, try doing a reset on the console.

Let's refresh the console's system cache.

NOTE: This will remove the profiles on your console, make sure that you remember the email and password to your account.

No data or game saves will be lost doing this, everything is backed up to the cloud servers.

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

2. Select Settings.

3. Select System.

4. Select Console info

5. Select Reset console.

6. Select Reset and keep my games & apps

This will also help sync the data on your console properly.

He doesnt have ultimate he read the wrong requirements

Well no that is not an error you do need ultimate since you are on console

If you were on pc you would buy gamepass for pc

Not console but ultimate or gold is needed for multiplayer on console

Gold is included with ultimate not gamepass

Gold.nor.ultimate is.needed on pc ONLY gamepass for console only.gives you games not multiplayer

Isn't this just as simple as the console is not set as 'Home'?

If you try to play any Game Pass game on a console that is not set as your home console, it requires you to be on-line and signed in.

Your home console only needs to be on-line once every 30 days. I use a console that is not set as home and every time I lose internet connection, I get booted out the game and it won't let be back in until the internet come back on.

It should be...but it becomes a different matter with games that need to be online (multiplayer and whatnot). FS19 can be played offline but I suspect the Multiplayer component of it is enabled on the GP version hence the prompts. Could be wrong though

I checked the games and I thought I know the issue is until I checked Tetris connected. Most games that you have provided are cloud-enabled games, I just thought that you were playing them via cloud gaming.

Going back, I haven't tried to play Local multiplayer for any games that you have mentioned, only with Tetris Effect which I played online multiplayer.

Let's try Battletoads, once you launch the game using your profile please then use the second controller and then press the menu button, you should have a prompt of choosing a character this time, follow the prompt.
