    I have changed my gamertag recently but my old one still shows up when I log onto my xbox...


    I changed my gamertag recently but my old one still shows up when logging onto my Xbox and in settings, however the “new one” appears in games etc, how can I get rid of the old one?

    Gamertag not updating?

    Hi. No it isn't showing both at the same time. When I turn on xbox it shows my new gamertag. But whenever I go online it shows the old one. Playing mw3. Multilayer with my friends they are still seeing the old gamertag. When I log in to Microsoft online it shows my new gamertag.

    I've cleared cache on the xbox. Deleted profile and added again and still not updating.

    I currently have only one profile on my Xbox and it's not set to sign in automatically. Like I stated above, it's the same account, but the Xbox shows my changed gamertag and gamer score, but when I log on with my other devices it shows the old gamertag
    and a zero gamer score.

    Hi,

    the last time I changed mine the Gt changed forward and backwards or both were standing there ^^.

    Don't worry in a few days it's fixed and it will only show your new Gt.

    Got a new gamertag a week and a half ago but it shows below my old one when you view my profile and when I join parties my old one shows up. Anyone know how I make my new gamertag my main?

    Update: it has been 2-3 weeks since I changed my gamertag and still no change , the old one is still showing up as my main.
