I have changed hdmi leads and ports bit still getting black screen

Since when is the problem? Did you install anything recently? Are you trying to connect a console or PC?

yeah i tried messing with all my settings but still the same even changed hdmi leads and swaped hdmi ports the problem i have is not all the time just happens every now and then gets a bit anoying thats all

Thank you for getting back to me i have tried pressing the buttons and it does change to different resalution but its just same no picture i have tried diff ports and leads and even tvs just does same it auto changes tv to hdmi but just black screen

Hi - yes, I did change the HDMI cable to a different port on the TV and the same. It is now even getting a bit weirder - again, during gameplay, no issues, but now on the loading screens during a game (not during any other app), it does that distortion for a bit and then now is cycling through the screen being black, green, red, etc. for a 1 sec each time and then the TV shuts down.

Get a 1xHDMI IN to 2xHDMI OUT splitter and a total of 4 HDMI leads.

1. Plug the HDMI lead from your cable box into the HDMI IN port on the splitter

2. Plug a HDMI lead into one HDMI OUT port on the splitter and into the HDMI IN port on you xbox

3. Plug another HDMI lead from the Xbox One into HDMI 1 on your TV (lie normal)

4. Plug one last HDMI lead from the other HDMI OUT port port on the splitter to HDMI 2 on the TV

Now you "should" have the Xbox One on HDMI 1 with TV and all the bells and whistles but if you use HDMI 2 then you should still have access to TV directly. Please note I haven't tried this yet (sitting here waiting for my Xbox) but I might have to if my
wife hates using it through the Xbox, however I see no reason why it wouldn't work.
