I have bought minecraft from play store...

Hi,

A few mounts ago I have purchased minecraft from play store. I connected my game account to my xbox live account. When I tried to play minecraft windows 10 edition on my windows 10, I saw to I have to buy the product in xbox store for some reason.

Can I furchase minecraft windows 10 edition or standart edition for free due to I previously purchased Minecraft from the Play Store?

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums.

You mentioned that you purchased this from the "Play Store"? If this is the Google Play Store on mobile, than that is altogether a different version of Minecraft on a different platform.

The game is not an
Xbox Play Anywhere title and therefor are unable to play the game on both your console and or Windows 10 PC, without purchasing the game on that specific platform.

As far as a discount, we here at the Xbox Forums do not have the capabilities to change the prize on the game for you.

There are sales frequently on our site and using the
Deals with Gold [if you have an Xbox Live Gold subscription] would net you a pretty sweet deal.

I hope this was able to clear up any confusion this may have caused.

Seeing as it is on Gamepass aswell you might be able to get a lower price of you have an active subscription.

I bought it from the minecraft store and played cross platform so I presume it’s bedrock.

it doesn't show anywhere that i bought minecraft on microsoft store but i can see it from the postpay app on the phone that i bought it and i am playing it right now on my laptop just fine
