I have been using xbox live member for almost 7yrs now and yet I'm still not a 5-star VIP why?

I've been a member of xbox-live since the xbox 360 was still a cream colored white console that's 7yrs.

I've spent hundreds if not thousands of dollars on xbox live and recently was told I wasn't even a rewards member even though I had a rewards account please explain why the heck I'm not a VIP member after giving your company so much money ? Look can someone
from the Xbox Live Rewards section update me to be a 5 star VIP member rating please? So I don't feel like your company is completely screwing me over after 7yrs of dedication, trust, money, effort, and time? please and thank you. (sorry if that sounds rude
it just kind of upsets me a bit when I think about it.) W/B ASAP ty if at all possible please e-mail me the response also ty

I need help

i had 5 star vip on xbox rewards. Now you guys switch it and now im a level 1. How come. It not far to restart my account. Ive been a member for 10 years now...

gold member for nearly 6 years yet no rewards for it

i have been a member of gold almost constantly for 6 years now yet i have not been getting the achievements/rewards on my vip for it, can someone please advise/help me?

Support will double check, but keep in mind that star levels are based on how much you spend each year, not your entire time on Live. So your current progress would only include purchases made from January 1, 2017 (or when you joined the program if you joined
after that date) until now. Ranks are reset each January so in order to maintain your level, you have to spend the same amount or more each year. Subscriptions, in-game consumables, and preorders do not count towards VIP.

You can earn Xbox Live Rewards Credit in two ways:

1. By finishing the offers located on the MyMissions page at
https://rewards.xbox.com/mymissions/ .

-or-

2. For non-offer purchases, you can earn Credits by earning a one star MyVIP level through purchasing at least $300 USD or regional equivalent of eligible content. After you receive your first star you will begin to earn a percentage of your eligible purchases
back as payback Rewards Credit. Pre-orders, in-game consumables, and subscriptions are not eligible for MyVIP.

In September 2014 we changed to the MyVIP policy. As a result, payback based off Gamerscore (MyAchievements) was discontinued. Also, as of July 2014, we do not award Credits for Xbox Live Gold renewals. MyVIP has a recalibration every year. At the end of
the year, we place you in your MyVIP rank for the new year based off your eligible spending from the previous year, and set your progress to the default state. This happened in September 2015 and December 2016. Since you are a zero star member, you do not
get payback Credits on your purchases. You can check your current MyVIP level/progress at (Xbox Live Rewards).

Well, I'm still a 4 star VIP, so I suppose that's good, but I'm at the bottom of that tier instead of getting any closer to 5 stars... *sigh*

I'm wondering how people can rate a game based on a screenshot or trailer.Games that haven't been yet released have almost 5 stars and many have no demos.

Hi Griffin11287! Since you are a 5 Star member now, you will remain at 5 Star throughout 2018. Unfortunately, we do not have any information as to the plans for 2019 yet or how MyVIP will be recalibrated. We also have not been told about changes planned
