I have been having an issue with stick drift in my Xbox series X/S ( Shock Blue controller)

I'm in the same boat as most of you on this thread. On my 360, my controllers lasted way longer than any of the Series X Controllers have. I have only had to replace my original 360 controllers maybe twice since I owned them and that is after numerous Call of Duty titles and Halo playing on them.

On the Series X, my original Black one that came with my system started to get stick drift about 3 months in. I purchased a Blue one when those colors came out...and that about 3-4 months before it got stick drift. Then I bought another Blue one. That too got stick drift after about 4 months or so. Then I got a Red one. That too started to get stick drift after about 4 months.

I have repaired the black one and the blue one once before, but the other stick started to drift on both so now its a mute point.

I'm sick of having to shell out $40-$50 on a new controller every 4-6 months just so I can play on my console.

I ended up buying 2 new GameSir G7 SE Wired Controllers from Amazon for $45 each and they have been fantastic!

Super long cords really help and these have the Hall Effect Joysticks/Triggers so I'm hoping this will be the end of Stick drift for me and me wasting money on Controllers that don't last.

I honestly wish I didn't have to resort to buying 3rd party products just so I can play the console that I love.

Microsoft, please fix your Controller issue!!

I have bought five new controllers for my Xbox series X game console. ON the Sniper Ghost Contract games 1 and 2 my controller shoots automatically with the left stick. Once you try to hold your breath and lock to shoot an opponent the controller sticks. This is a new problem for me other then the drifting of an old controller. Has anyone else complained about this issues.

The problem is not just the on elite 2 controllers its a issue with all controllers that use the PDP program because i have 3 afterglow controllers that have problems with joy stick drift i also have 2 power A controllers that have problems with joy stick
drift as well and my brother has an elite 2 series controller that also has the same problem

Did you manage to fix this? My Series X controller has stick drift and keeps moving up/forward.

Nope. Still an issue for me too, complete silence from MS. I also have a thumbstick drift issue, so that's interesting.
