I have been charge twice in one month for the ultimate xbox game pass

If you upgraded from Core to Ultimate, this is normal.

When you upgrade Game Pass, you have to pay for 1 month of Ultimate first. So you are technically charged twice, but both of these payments go towards your Game Pass subscription time.

I understand that you are interested in playing Game Pass games. Given that you already have three months of Xbox Live Gold, I have two options that you may consider. Firstly, you can cancel your Xbox Live Gold subscription and request a refund. Once the refund has been processed, you can then purchase one month of Game Pass Ultimate, which combines Xbox Live Gold, Game Pass for Console, PC Game Pass, and EA Play.

Alternatively, you have the option to upgrade your three months of Xbox Live Gold to Game Pass Ultimate by purchasing one additional month of Game Pass Ultimate. This will convert your existing Xbox Live Gold subscription, giving you a total of four months of Game Pass Ultimate. Note that once the four months have expired, you will be charged for an additional month of Game Pass Ultimate, assuming auto-renewal is enabled

Your first month is $1. After that, the subscription will charge at full price.

Note: A purchase of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate automatically upgrades your existing Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass memberships to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. When you join Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, we will apply any prepaid time you have on Xbox
Live Gold and/or Xbox Game Pass toward Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, up to a maximum of 36 months.

For example, if you have 3 months of Xbox Live Gold and 3 months of Xbox Game Pass already on your account when you purchase your first month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, you will have a total of 7 months of Ultimate on your account before you need to renew
your membership.

The $1 charge is only for the first month. Once it's time for you to renew, you'll be charged the regular price. If you already have gold (and game pass) it will converted to the ultimate subscription. The Ultimate Game Pass includes gold, Xbox Game Pass,
and PC Game Pass. The upside is that you only have 1 subscription for all 3.
