First, let's try a simple fix, please, power cycle the console to clear its cache data and try again.

To do it, follow these steps:

Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.

Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 60 seconds.

Important Be sure to wait at least 60 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

Plug the console power cable back in.

Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

have you tried do a console factory reset . this is a common problem i finding out i been searching problems like this.

Yes, I've tried that.

I might pull it apart and disconnect the front touch sensor and see if that does the trick...

However, my system is one of the older white ones, that doesnt have the "touch" buttons on the front, and I believe it uses a button versus touch capacitors. I've already tried just unplugging it for hours (I unplugged it overnight), and it still keeps on
happening.

Problem only on Xbox One, I have latest update and yes I've tried hold down the X icon on the front of the Xbox One for 8-10 seconds (I thought it called hard reset)
