I have an Xbox Series S and I'm not able to play local 2 player

I have 2 controllers connected to the system and both have been updated with the latest firmware. Both controllers work individually but when attempting to play 2 player local games (i.e. Moving Out 2, TMNT:Shredder's Revenge...etc.) I am not able to join as 2nd player from the 2nd controller. It appears that 2nd controller is not be ing recognized when I'm pressing the button that is being said to press to join as a 2nd player.

This is incredibly frustrating. The controller worked just fine for It Takes Two, my boys finished that game yesterday and when they attempted to play together with a different game today, it doesn't work. We also ran into this when attempting to play 2 player with Injustice.

I'm tempted to buy a new controller but something tells me I'll run into the same problem.

do you have a second profile signed in? Many games require that, you can't just press start

Yes, it's possible to play GTA Online on Xbox One consoles. However, due to Rockstar Games' decision, players on Xbox One will only be able to play with other Xbox One players and not with players on Xbox Series X|S. So, if your friends play on an Xbox Series X|S console, you won't be able to play with them.

I'm from Germany and changed to the UK store for a moment. Strange thing is it still showed me the prices in €uro 😂

But I saw the bundle and there it's written that it includes both.

You only have to make sure that you choose the right version ! The Xbox one version can be played only with other XBOne players while the Series X/S version can only be played with Series X/S players and only on Series X/S consoles.

Since you are signing in online on a azure server not your console

With series s WHY in heavens name are you trying to play cloud when you can just install the game locally

You take a performance hit and you can't play 2 players and there is no next gen game you can't play even flight SIM runs locally

It seems that EA SPORTS FC 24 does have Cross-Play between PC and Xbox Series X|S consoles.

Are you sure your friend has an Xbox Series S and not an Xbox One S? It's common for some players to confuse the console models due to their similar names, but it's important to differentiate that an Xbox Series S is a next-generation console, while Xbox One S consoles are not.
