    I have an Xbox PC Game Pass subscription and my PC is running windows 10, fully updated....


    I have been using my Xbox PC Game Pass subscription for a few months. Today when I'm trying to play games, games are not opening, and neither the Xbox app not the Windows Store is recognizing my subscription, eventhough in the website, my subscription is showing as active. The connection is not working in the EA app either, so I'm not able to launch EA games either. It was working fine till today. Windows 10, Windows Store and the Xbox are updated to the latest version.

    Yes you just need to use the Xbox app ti purchase and download games. There is a subscription service of Game Pass PC beta, you get 100 PC games to play. Your PC needs to be running the Windows 10 1903 update, to use Game Pass PC beta.

    My laptop also will run certain games and not others. I found this information on the Xbox Game Pass for PC (Beta) website:

    1) Some games require Windows 10 to be fully updated.

    2) Check the individual game detail page to confirm if your machine specifications and operating system version meet the minimum requirements set forth by the developer.

    Xbox PC App won't recognize Game Pass subscription.

    Do you have the right subscription plan? Because you can usa Game Pass PC or Game Pass Ultimate on a Windows 10 PC, but if you have only the Xbox Game Pass subscription, this plan is valid only for Xbox console.

    This is the ONLY thing that has worked for me. THANK YOU. I have no options to update "game services" my pc is fully updated on windows 10, xbox app is fully updated. But yea downloading from the microsoft store worked.

    Have you tried checking to make sure you are using the latest version of Windows 10 to see if this resolves the issue?

    Can you first try running
    Windows Update     on your PC and after this also try running
    Windows 10 Update Assistant     to make sure your PC is fully up to date.
