S/X games are for the Series S/X which is a different console. If a game is made for a Series S/X, it will not work on any type of One.

I get the same thing only with my xbox one s. And the help page doesn't even recognize the error code 0x8B0500B6.. What gives? My xbox won't start without this update. Makes me wish I went with Playstation.

as far as I know it will be depending on the adapter too, most (if not all) will NOT be able to have the console recognize that the monitor will support free-sync. I myself have an adapter and that is Not recognizing the feature at all.

Regarding which consoles will support freesynch, the testing was limited to the S or X the orginal Xbox One didn't have the option in testing.

So I'm not entirely sure if it does or doesn't support the feature.

in this section specifically:

Variable refresh rate (VRR) technologies are used to dynamically adjust the refresh rate of a display on the fly to reduce stuttering and screen tears while playing games. VRR is only available when connected to a TV that supports either HDMI-VRR or
AMD FreeSync.

My assumption is that the cause will be the adapter no matter what console you are using (X, S or original One)

Same problem for me. The Xbox One refuses to recognize my wireless network and tell´s me it´s the wrong network password.

It isn´t because 3 Iphones, 3 Ipads, two separate TV-sets and one PC finds the networks AND recognizes the same password.

This must be and hardware issue with the Xbox One!?

So, A full reset of the system didn't fix the problem and I'm on hold with MS chat support. When I did the reset, it did try to auto detect my TV settings, but it wouldn't display at all so it reverted back to 1080p. When I left it like that and allowed
for 4k, Netflix didn't recognize that the console displayed in 4k and it wouldn't show me the 4k videos. I'm really getting frustrated with this thing. Doesn't seem like this should be an issue as the last Xbox One had no problem with Ultra HD Deep Color
and the Xbox One S troubleshooting guide has it listed on there as well.
