I have an Xbox gift card that I want to Redeem but is not allowing me to!

Where exactly does it allow me to enter (redeem) a gift card into my daughters account?

Like I said - I can charge to the card on file - but adding a gift card to her account is a PITA.

With apple - I (logged in as ME) simply hit her account and scans the barcode - DONE.

With XBOX - I have to scratch off - then log into the console - then go to the store, then to redeem - then type in a convoluted string of 20 characters and then tap through several screens - all while using a gaming controller. - WELL THOUGH OUT...

Pain when you have five gift cards. I can add with apple in roughly 75 seconds... Xbox its a 10 minute episode.

Perhaps my ignorance is overextending itself - but I cannot find any option to redeem a gift card into her account on the web nor the app - ONLY through that forsaken console controller.

If its there and I'm not seeing it - please elaborate where on the website it allows me to redeem a gift card - whether logged into my account or hers...

My son wants to buy the Call of Duty and he redeemed his xbox gift card to his child account and when he goes to order it sends me an email and asks me if I allow it and when I say allow it asks how i want to pay. How do I pay for this with the money

If you have enough Microsoft reward points, then you need to redeem the reward points for Xbox/Microsoft Gift Cards on the redeem page of Microsoft rewards. Then once the gift card codes have been emailed to you, then you can redeem those gift card codes on https://account.microsoft.com/billing/redeem Once you have enough money from the Xbox Gift Cards, you can then purchase Minecraft from the Microsoft Store or Xbox Store (depending on which version you want).
