    I have a question about whether or not you can play Xbox One games on an Xbox 360. I still have an Xbox 360 Kinect and I was wondering if I could play an Xbox One game on it because I have recently become a Formula 1 fan and would love to have the Formula
    1 Xbox game, but I have no idea if it would even be compatible I have an Xbox 360, but there is a Xbox One game I really want to buy :( I see a bunch of things about 360 games being compatible with Xbox One so you could play old games on the new console, but have not really heard or seen anything about Xbox One games being
    compatible, and played on Xbox 360 consoles. I have a feeling you probably cannot, sadly, but I was just wondering!

    Hi Bmac,

    Thanks for coming to the forums. Unfortunately, Xbox one titles are not playable on an Xbox 360. The only other titles able to play on an Xbox 360 is the original Xbox titles that are available. Backward compatible ramps up to the next gen console basically.
    Original Xbox>360>Xbox one>then Scarlett when it comes out.

    Xbox 360 games will not play on the Xbox One at all and no you will not be able to free download a copy on Xbox One because you have a Xbox 360 version. You would have to re-purchase the game on Xbox Ones arcade if it becomes available on there. So as above,
    keep your Xbox 360 if you really want to keep playing those games. Although I am sure once you start buying and playing Xbox One games you will find it hard to go back to the Xbox 360 games as they will not look anywhere as good or play as well.
