Well no as you would have to sign into his account which is no longer possible with the games for Windows shutdown you would have to install the steam patch to work around the shutdown

However since you dont have the CD key you can't reinstall it without his account

I don't buy second hand but second hand games were still in the original DRM. If anything we lost the chance of new games getting cheaper as physical had a direct link to The live marketplace because they could be treated as digital meaning Microsoft could
have directly competed with retail prices of new physical discs. But I'm not going into this again.

There are a handful of things that I don't like, but number one - and the dealbreaker for me - is the online DRM system. Once the licensing/infrastructure servers are shut down, you will no longer be able to play a single game that you bought for the Xbox
One - even the ones for which you have a physical copy. I can put up with most of the other stuff, but that one's a non-starter. I've been on Xbox and Xbox Live for a long time, but I won't be on Xbox One unless that changes.

For me, DRM, I don't like it and also don't like restrictions on the consumer. For me though the benefits that come hand in hand with this format of DRM. Had it been mote restrictive like always online, I'd be banging the same drum as you.

I respect you for sticking to your principles. Can we all just agree to disagree on this DRM stuff and leave it here, then we can start talking about the great games and other features of X1? Well until there is some new information?

Im not buying it the games are not worth the hassle of having the extreme DRM on disc and the kinect crap in my house. I will never use the damn kinect and I don't want to bother hooking it up,.
