I have an issue with my store account not playing nice

Hi there,

I have an issue with my store account vs my xbox account.

decades ago I setup an xbox account under a different email address - due to not wanting to look a tosser when applying for jobs I moved to a new account (This one).

The issue is I have Xbox game pass ultimate on my old account and I can not use it on my laptop because it keeps complaining about how my microsoft store doesnt match my xbox (Id love to upload an image for you but that itself keeps failing). Attempting to select set my xbox account a the store account but apparently that button does nothing, anyway as a result I am unable to use my subscription on my laptop.

Jump to the next issue - I have attempted to contact xbox support but all I get there is an AI assistant that talks in circles and I get no where.
I managed to find after a bunch of attempts to find an option to speak to someone via either a call back or a web chat - I thought excellent this will do it..... nope call back is unavailable and the supposed 24/7 support web chat also just fails and I get directed back to the AI and the whole cycle starts again.

I also found an option to link a new email as an alias to my xbox account so figured that would work but nope... All of a sudden it is "You cant use this email as it is apart of a protected domain use another email".

After further digging I find there is a get help option caked into my laptop so I try that - again there is an option to talk to support via a web chat but na that wont load - all I get is "An unexpected error occurred".

All I want to do is swap what account my xbox profile is connected to, hell not even that I want to know if this is even possible or if I have just wasted my time trying to find some form of avenue to even talk to someone that maybe able to help.
