I Have an error when migrating my Mojang account to Microsoft account

Hi everyone,

Sorry if the similar question was already asked, I tried to contact the microsoft support but they tell me to explain my issue here.

It's very quick I tried to migrate my Mojang issue to a Microsoft issue but at the end I have an error (I joined a screenshot of the error). I tried with another Microsoft account but it didn't change anything.

I'm having a similar problem. After migrating my Mojang account to a Microsoft account, when I attempt to login using the Microsoft credentials, it shows up as a non-paid / demo account. I don't want to have to buy the game again. I wonder if it is possible the account was migrated to a different Microsoft account than the one I am using, but Mojang support cannot address that. I would love to be able to lookup what account name/email address my old Mojang account was migrated to.

If I may ask, may I have the exact error message upon attempting to migrate your Minecraft account?

If you have posted a screenshot of the error, my apologies but it doesn't show up with your issue description.

Please be informed that there is a Minecraft/Mojang account migration to a Microsoft account. Have you already migrated your Minecraft account to a Microsoft account? If so, your Minecraft account and Microsoft account are linked as one already.

What just happened when you proceed with it? Are you getting any error message or error code?

Thank you for your response. If not done so already, I would recommend also contacting Mojang Support directly. If you have recently migrated your Mojang accounts with a Microsoft account, it's possible that this is what's causing the error. Mojang should be able to pinpoint if this is an account error or something on the Microsoft account end.

Additionally, if you have noticed that this began after a recent migration, you may view Microsoft Account Migration Issues and FAQ for potential solutions to the error you are receiving.
