I have an error that an update is unavailable.

i don’t know why but since a little while now when I launch skylanders imaginators it brings me back to the main menu with an error that says that the game needs an update but the update can’t be found. The thing is that I’ve done some research and the error is nowhere to be seen I’ve asked on Xbox support, Activision support but no success. I have the game in cd so I can’t reinstall it and even if I have a usb with about 19 gigs free it keeps telling me the same error. I don’t know if anyone has the same error as me but it would be nice to have an answer and so I can finally play it again and not loose all my progress.

Please check for partial installation issues because other gamers have noted that the game only downloads part of its required data and then stops, preventing further progress. If this happens, your console might be failing to fetch the full update package. Kindly leave the game idle for an extended period to see if it auto-patches itself. Restart your console and check if the update process resumes.

And then clear system cache and restart. To do this, power down your Xbox completely. Unplug it for about 30 seconds. Restart and try launching the game again.

Next is to ensure that there is more storage for the game update because even though you have 19GB free, Xbox might require additional space for temporary files.

If the issue persist after performing the troubleshooting steps, kindly let the game remain in in sleep mode while the console attempts to download the missing update.

Does an error message show when you select the update? Or does it say it's currently unavailable?
