I have an accidentally redeemed a voucher code.

Hi All.

I bought a Xbox voucher from Amazon for my nephew and then accidentally redeemed it in my name.

I used the very long code in the email from Amazon as instructed thinking it would unlock my purchase so I could gift it. Before I knew it I was given lists of games to choose from. I assume therefore that I have redeemed it by mistake.

Is there anyway this can be undone so I can give him his Christmas present.

I have tried to request a call but this function is not available at this time.

I hope someone can help.

Unfortunately not. There is no way to unredeem a code.

What you can do is use the money from the voucher on your account to gift your nephew a game.

Unfortunately, Xbox Support are unable to transfer a code once its been redeemed.

"Important Before you redeem your code, make sure that you're signed in to the correct Microsoft account on your device or browser. Codes that are redeemed on the wrong account cannot be transferred to another Microsoft account by Xbox Support."

Youd have to check with customer service and see if there is anything they can do but generally speaking nothing is transferable between accounts.

I think you should get a voucher with code. Then go to redeem code on your xbox and type in code that you found on voucher.
