    Congratulations everyone! As I mentioned previously I mailed in my broken controller nearly a month ago at this point, and yay! today I received my replacement! I opened it up, in a box big enough to fit a soccer ball in with about an 8.5x11" piece of paper
    thin "bubble" wrap and a letter. According to the letter "We noticed we received either a disc or other accessory with your replacement console so we are sending this one back to you!"

    ARE YOU FRIGGIN KIDDING ME?!?!?!

    I literally printed out THREE (3) copies of BOTH service request numbers, one for the controller, and one for the broken console, and even WROTE A LETTER explaining the issue, STAPLED both service request receipts to it, and wrapped the controller in like
    six layers of bubble wrap and then even the replacement INVOICE, covered in clear packing tape.

    I do all this, and about two weeks ago I get an email from some guy named "Ryan" at the "Advocacy Team". "Hi, we are just reaching out to see how your replacement went, blah blah blah, we noticed that you had a second service order open for a controller
    that we never received and want to know if you still wanted it repaired?"

    I nearly flipped my lid, explained the situation to him, the fact about all of the invoices, the letter, sent him the tracking number stating they have had it for nearly two weeks already, and he assures me he is going to take care of it. Fine. Next day
    I receive a tracking number and it looks like things are good. This was December 26th. Then, today happens.

    So, finally I call in today, absolutely pissed off but remaining calm and understanding that the guy on the phone has nothing to do with it, and he says we have to set up ANOTHER exchange, and I can't get an advanced one. Plus, the exchange now mentions
    nothing about a DAY ONE EDITION controller. PLUS, I HAVE TO PAY TO MAIL THE THING BACK, AGAIN.

    This is going all over the BBB and everywhere else I can post it. At this point I am just fed up with the whole thing and ready to just send the entire thing back to Microsoft and cutting my losses.

    Contacting Xbox Support regarding a faulty controller (under warranty)

    Hi. I have had a very frustrating experience with Xbox support over the last 2 months. I have contacted support 8 times now and, to date, absolutely no action has occurred on the problem. I keep getting told that there is a system issue with the Xbox support
    service centre and someone will contact me. No one contacts me, so each week I contact support again to be told the same issue.

    My controller joystick (LHS) was working normally until one day, 3 months after purchase, it broke when my 6 year old was playing Lego Batman.

    The console and controller are covered by warranty.

    8 times to contact support and have absolutely no progress in terms of actioning the claim is a total joke. Xbox support should be ashamed of possibly the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

    I will not be recommending Xbox to anyone and will not be a repeat customer.

    Appalling service.

    The left stick broke on february 5th. The broken controller arrived at Xbox Repair center on february 17. I haven't received my controller back. DON'T BUY THIS CONSOLE! Its a RIPOFF, a scam! There is no help from customer service at all! I have written
    about 7 e-mails and received NO RESPONSE AT ALL. Also its worthles to call customer service!

    DON'T BUY THIS CONSOLE! ITS BROKEN!

    Oh, and just to clarify, I photographed the serial numbers inside the controller and discreetly marked it with a small "X" inside the battery cover. It is very much the same one I already sent in a month ago.

  5. Well you maybe the winner here (of getting crapped on I mean) im having similar issues with a controller replacement......this is almost criminal imo......

    I too am having controller issue been waiting since 28th November sent Day one controller in and they sent me back....... just the battery holder at the back! since then I have to spend 50 euro on a standard controller whilst I wait for day one to arrive!
