I am using the Xbox series s

I click on the game icon which loads into the start menu where I pressed start and it goes back to the homepage with no error messages/codes

Sometimes it will load into rally the add on then I try to load the menu to go on the main game and again it is the same just goes onto the home page with no error codes/messaged and this had been going on for months

This is only happening with this game

Every time I start up forward horizon 4, it just won't let me press A to start the game and then It says controller disconnected on my Xbox series s, what can I do to fix it?

The problem is that every time I start up Sunset Overdrive the game loads perfectly then when I click start it loads and sends me back to the menu with no error. I have reinstalled the game around 5 times now and every time I have not seen any difference.
