i have a xbox and windows account can i move all my stuff to 1 account

I have both a windows and xbox account I would like to remove 1 without losing any purchases as the account with the email I use now isn't the one I bought most of my games and apps on and my gamer tag is the one I would like to keep. i cant just change
the email on the 1 I want to use, to my new email as the windows account has it and don't want to delete it as it has some window stuff id like to keep

Unfortunately There is no way to transfer items from one account to another I believe, you can even seek support help to see if they can do this for you, but from what I understand you have 2 microsoft accounts, 1 that you use to your PC and another you
use in Xb ox, what you can do is set up the 2 accounts on your Xbox and from now on purchase the items in your PC account and you log your account you use on your PC on your Xbox, but for xbox account games you still need to access them through the original
account where you rescued the products

Hey there dazgreen1066,

This will not be possible, the account that you use for your Xbox is also a Microsoft account, you are able to update the primary email address but you are not able to transfer any data.

If you have content that you do not want to loose on both accounts you will simply need to keep access to both accounts, just make sure that you keep account security information up to date so that you never lose access to the accounts.

I'm having this same issue, just I don't have gold status. Tried to move mine to another account I use for other stuff, also after getting a Windows phone, so I could have my Xbox stuff on my phone. So I'm going to take a good guess this error code is related
to having a Windows phone on the account you're moving the gamertag to since one of you also mentioned having such a phone. I'll give chat support a try and see what happens, and if they can get anywhere with it I'll post back here and let everyone know.
