I have a Xbox 360 browser don't work out dated is it safe to download a new upgrade

Is there anyway to get just the browser or my friend put a [Mod Removed - Inappropriate] explore 9 can i down grade to a 8.1 or im i just [Mod Removed - Inappropriate] with it thanks for your help

Using normal means, there would be no way for you to be able to either update or downgrade your browser, nor use another browser that wasn't already installed on the console when you received it.

There are also no other browsers that you can download as apps onto your Xbox 360 to use as an alternate browser.

If you were somehow able to do this, then it would have been though outside means, which is not something we don't recommend as it could damage your console.

I hope this was able to clear up any further confusion this could have caused.

If there was an update for this app, it would be passed out automatically, however, the Xbox 360 Internet Explorer browser has not be updated in some time, and there is noway to force an update, nor is it recommend that you attempt to update it using outside
means.

The web browser on the Xbox 360 dates back to at least 2012, it's nearly 9 years out of date. Most websites now use a form of HTML5 that the Xbox 360 browser just doesn't support. That's why websites aren't working. There is no way to fix it.

i agree they should release Microsoft edge for it since its faster then internet explorer (though IE was REALLY fast for its time)
