I have a wired network but still no connection. I am on xbox one

Please power cycle your console and network hardware. Turn off your Xbox by holding the power button for 10 seconds, then unplug the power cable from your router and modem. Wait for a few minutes, then plug them back in and turn on your Xbox.

And then check ethernet cable and ports. Make sure that the Ethernet cable is securely connected to both your Xbox and your router.

You may also use a different Ethernet cable or a different port on your router to see if that resolves the issue.

Next is to test network connection. To do this please go to Settings > Network > Network settings on your Xbox and select Test network connection.

These steps will help identify any issues with your network setup.

If none of the steps work, pelase connect your Xbox directly to the modem to see if that resolves the issue. This can help determine if the problem is with the router itself.

I didn't need to sign in to my network as I am using a wired network and the xbox just connected. The netflix app is still working fine. The only other issue I have is worth a slightly choppy playback on iplayer.

Thank you for the help Shad0wmanUK, unfortunately I am still having the same issue. The I did update my firmware to the latest version (1.01.28), removed the wired XBox from the DMZ, and cleared all port forwarding. However, the wireless XBox 360 still
will not connect to XBox Live while the wired XBox 360 console is connected (and vice versa). I do have connection on both consoles to my home network and to the internet, but only one will connect to XBox Live at a time. If my son is connected on one, and
I try to log in, it either kicks him off XBox Live or I get the "can't connect to XBox Live" message.

Well I am still having issues, if I am connected wireless the connection drops, if connected wired then it is fine.

This is a real pain as I am not able to leave it on a wired connection.

I power down my ONE every night and have even tried the power cycle to no avail
