I have a trikton xbox one mic and it keeps echoing

To fix the echo you should change mic because some of my friends had the same problem and they changed mic and now they aren't echoing

I'm glad i'm not the only one with this opinion. I have a fairly expensive headset and use the Elite v2 controller. After numerous attempts of trying to fix my mic, i can't get a setting that works. Some people either echo from my mic, or my game sound
echos so much and is picked up with my mic. I simply just mute myself between speaking now, which is inconvenient.

it depends who is hearing the echo.

if you are hearing an echo then it is most likely that someone else in your party has their mic gain too high and has party chat through their TV or too loud in their headphones. check whose name shows when you hear the echo.

Mic echo could be related to multiple variables. It could be your controller, your headset/mic setup, or even your TV volume being too loud. I would say most of the time, I would ask my friends with echo to turn down their headset master volume and they
would be able to fix it pretty quickly. You could even just unplug and replug your headset to fix the issue. It's hard to say exactly what would cause it considering theres multiple angles to fix it. I have a HyperX Stinger headset and I rarely have a mic
echo problem. I would also suggest to check our the reviews on your headset to see if that is a common problem.

You may have the TV volume up too high.
