I have a question on the Xbox Game Bar

from what i've researched there is no way to hide that timer right now

I do get notifications for Game Bar. My question is related to console companion. Will I receive game invites for console companion if I have game bar disabled?

Here is one way to help with this problem and fix it.

1. Check if the Xbox Game Bar is really installed, if you have any questions, check the Microsoft Store App, go to the three points in the corner of the window, go to the library, installed, and see if it is there.

2. Restart your Xbox Game Bar and the game you are playing. To do this, right-click on the taskbar, go to Task Manager, and look for the Xbox Game Bar, then click end task.

The reason why I cannot do this is because my xBox Games Bar won't even open. Yes, I'm well aware that I could deinstall my captures but I cannot open the Game Bar when I'm playing a game. That is my question, how to fix that?

With issues like these, I'd recommend checking your privacy settings. Go to account.xbox.com and then privacy settings. Select Communication & multiplayer. Under Others can communicate with voice, text, or invites, select Everybody. Also, please try signing in and out of your account.
