I have a question about the family settings.

You will need to login (website) live.microsoft.com as the Parent, if you do not know the password, you will need to pick "Forgot Password" option.

No worries about the spelling. I believe the only way to reset the Family Settings passcode is either via answering the Family Settings security question, or by contacting Xbox Customer Support on the phone. Nothing on the website, as far as I know.

passcode is a four-button code set on the console.



If he's talking about his Windows Live ID, he'd have to click on "Can't access your account?" at
login.live.com and then follow the steps. Windows Live ID support will get back to him within 24hrs.

As a parent account in the Microsoft Account family, you can set to allow or disallow apps as you choose and see fit. You can manage the family and their account settings for children at your
Microsoft Account page under the Family tab.

Obviously, I know where family settings are. That wasn't the question. Nowhere in family settings is there a setting for blocking the store.
