I have a problem with my Karaoke game

Kindly try using a different controller or a different headset to check what is the issue.

Also, please check if there is an update for your controller:

"1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide, select Profile & system > Settings > Devices & streaming > Accessories, and then select the controller you want to update.

2. On the Xbox Wireless Controller screen, select “…” to check the firmware version for your controller.

3. If it says “Update,” select Firmware version, and then follow the steps provided."

If that didn't fix the issue, please perform a powercycle by following the steps below:

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

Sorry to hear you're having issues with Karaoke.

Just to make sure, are you using the Karaoke App or a different game?

If you're using the app, I would suggest trying these solutions on
Troubleshooting the Karaoke App.

If you're playing a different game:

• What game are you playing?
• Are you able to connect to Xbox Live without issue?
• Are other games disconnecting your?

Please let us know and we'll work from there.

The Karaoke app on Xbox 360 is closed and no longer playable. I would say keep searching for new game titles that have karaoke features. Let's Sing or Just Sing may be perfect.

The karaoke app is cool, but I also highly recommend the Karaoke Revolution series, which consists of 4 games, and most of the time you can find them with a microphone for only $20 to $30.

The first 2 are the Karaoke Revolution: American Idol Encore series, the third is just called Karaoke Revolution, and currently available at many retailers is Karaoke Revolution: Glee.

This series also has extra songs you can download from the marketplace, and some of the songs seem to carry over between the games.

Big misunderstanding here. Karaoke is owned by Karaoke Channel. If you look at the Karaoke Channel website, they charge for everything. This was an app port created by Karaoke Channel with Microsoft for the Karaoke Channel, so it is not a sole property
of Microsoft.

Based on previous complaints, I am assuming that Microsoft realized that the entire system was only a high gain for The Karaoke Channel, and was creating issues that were costing them more than it was worth. If you want to blame someone, blame The Karaoke
Channel, not Bill Gates (who is just a Technical Advisor for MS now) and Microsoft.

Having loved using this app, I was upset when it started saying it could not connect. However, I did the rest of the research about The Karaoke Channel, who provided the service. This is what you get with third party apps, as anyone that has played a
number of games on setups like FB knows. Enjoy while it is there, then move on. As others say, it is better to get games that are stand alone with download add-ons if you want them as a regular family night thing.

Karaoke Channel ported their setup as apps for multiple smart devices (TV, Players, etc.) and as VOD (video on demand), and have their own setup that you can find online. www.thekaraokechannel.com/online

Key is, it cost you more than what you were paying for on XBOX360.
