    I have a problem with controller for Xbox 10 on msfs


    I have a problem with The Microsoft controller for Xbox 10 where one controller works on flight simulator and the other controller does not work but it always worked before New batteries ,updated ,rebooted still have the problem it works for 20 minutes and then stops and then I have to put the other controller on to make it work. Other than Microsoft flight simulator having a thousand other problems that's just one of my problems can't figure out why that's happening if it's Bluetooth and it sends out a signal they should both work equally.

    Note: This has only happened since Monday the 14th appreciate anything you can let me know the msfs was not working properly all weekend as well I have tried this on all the other games and there's no problem The controller works perfectly

    I understand that you are experiencing issues with your controller when playing MSFS.

    I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

    Please check controller firmware. To do this, connect the problematic controller via USB. Open the Xbox Accessories app (available in the Microsoft Store) and check for firmware updates for the controller.

    And then recalibrate the controller. Go to Windows Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices. Select the controller and remove it, then reconnect it.

    Use the "Game Controllers" settings in Windows to recalibrate the controller.

    Next is to disable power-saving features because there are some Bluetooth devices have power-saving features that can cause disconnections. To do this, open Device Manager, find your Bluetooth adapter, right-click, and select "Properties." Under the "Power Management" tab, uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power."

    Then reset MSFS Controller Settings. In MSFS, go to the controller settings and reset them to default. Then, reconfigure the controls for both controllers.

    If the issue persist after performing the troubleshooting steps, kindly consider using a wired connection as a temporary solution because the controller works fine when connected via USB, it might indicate a Bluetooth-specific issue.

    I don't even have WIFI in my desktop PC, it's gigabit ethernet all the way and it still doesn't work.

    Edit:

    I went to "Reset this PC" in Windows 10, wiped everything (clean install), installed only Google Chrome and Steam (no drivers or other software), installed MSFS from Steam and it still doesn't work. The problem is definitely either in MSFS itself or with
    their servers.

Turns out, if you've played MSFS on a PC or Xbox and changed the controller key bindings, then this can break the controller key bindings needed to be able to navigate menus in the Cloud Gaming version of MSFS.
