I have a problem when I want to make my monthly payment of an xbox membership with MS gift card

I do not use a credit card, I always make the payment with MS gift cards, but this time it delayed me a few days and it did not allow me to make the payment and asks me to put a card as a secondary option in case it does not have the enough funds, so I got
a loan from a friend but still follows the same problem, only this time he tells me that the payment has been denied ... (we both have enough money to pay for the membership)

I was asked to wait 24 - 48 hours for the system to be unlocked and I could make the payment, it's been more than 3 days but I still can not do it, some opinion of what I should do?

Why can't used Xbox Gift card to buy stuff from the avatar store

Everytime I tried to buy some new stuff for my avatar store on Xbox One with my Xbox Gift Card it said You have no valid payment option. Not everyone doesn't have a credit card to this is BS, this is not fare to people who can't buy avatar stuff with your Xbox Gift card. I hope MS can fixed this problem

Removing credit card from Live Gold account

I have redeemed a 12 month pre-paid membership code to renew my Xbox Live Gold membership through 1/14/16. I have also redeemed a gift card and have a $25 credit on my account. There are no pending payments on the credit card and auto-renew is turned off.
Can I remove the credit card from my account without cancelling the membership? I just want to use the redeemed gift card for purchases and no have a credit card attached to the account

You don't you never could use currency or ms points or gift cards for reoccurring memberships

If you want one time payment you will have to buy prepaid codes

Subscription plans require a reoccurring payment option like a credit card

Hi, i just wanna let you know you cant buy an xbox gamepass whit gift card because its a monthly payment. If you want to have the xbox game pass you need to have a valid credit card.

I have tried redeeming a card that I bought from a store through my xbox one, xbox 360 and xbox.com, but nothing worked.

My problem is solved after contacting the support on xbox site. Turned out that because I have used my credit card previously for membership monthly renewal and one payment didn't complete for some reason beyond my knowledge my account got suspended, I was
able to redeem my card after resolving this issue.

The same thing has been happening to me.all morning..i had to cancel my xbox gold because xbox live sent me a message saying my gold membership was going to be suspended because my monthly payment couldnt be renewed.even tho i had made the payment and
i do have a active bank card.my next payment was march 7.it even says on billing.but my card info is still on Xbox.this and other inconveniences are making me think about switching to Sony.tbh
