I have a new account and am unable to play cod mw2 I am logged into my new account but...

I am unable to attempt to add a new account or sign into a new account. I can sign into accounts already on my Xbox

when i create a new profile, i am prompted to enter the new name which i then add.

this is however only usable locally.

there is no ability to go to the settings menu and select the 'Account' option - it is greyed out.

i am unable to attempt to log into xbox live.

therefore the console appears to not be usable online.

i would like to log into the 360 with my xbox one account, but there's no profile/account validation possible.

I want to use Xbox family to place restrictions on his Xbox. However as his Xbox is set up under my email I am unable to place any restrictions as I am 'the organiser'. I need to be the organiser obviously and I need my email as well. I am trying to set him up with a new email so that I can transfer his gamer tag and Xbox account to that new email. I would then be able to add him as a child and place restrictions on what he does on his Xbox. I am unable to do this for some reason. I have created a new email for him, I have made him the 'primary' I have logged in , logged out etc but without luck. I am sure that I am not alone.
