Thank you for the update. Please to clear the account sign in data by doing these steps:

Open the Settings tab in Minecraft and go to your Profile

Select "Clear Account Sign In Data" and confirm, then exit the game

Relaunch Minecraft

Try to sign in again using your Microsoft account.

If that does not work on your situation, try to refresh your sign in:

Launch Minecraft or exit to the launch screen.

Click on Settings.

Click on Account.

Click on Manage Account in the Account Settings.

Click on your profile name in the Xbox companion app and select Sign out.

Click on Sign in where your profile name was and reenter your Microsoft account information.

I put allow for everything just to be sure. It still tells me that multiplayer is disabled despite it being allowed. I’ve also logged out and logged back in on launcher even going as far to uninstall and reinstall everything and restarting the entire system.

1. Go to https://account.xbox.com/settings

2. Login using your Microsoft account with Minecraft.

(if it doesn't say it and directs you to the website, make sure you're signed in using the correct email)

Note: If you don't have an Xbox account, it will ask you to make one, so make any account.

3. If you scroll down, under your username and Avatar it should say "Xbox one/windows 10 online safety" click on that

4. Scroll down until you see "You can join multiplayer games" allow or block,

allow this

Relaunch Minecraft and let me know how it goes.

We've set the multiplayer as "allow", and the page says this should override age restrictions, but multiplayer just remains grayed out and when hovering over it it tells us to check our microsoft account settings... which we have.

You can enable the multiplayer for Minecraft from the Xbox Family Settings app on your mobile device.

In the Xbox Family Settings app:

Go to Settings > In Enable Minecraft > Select Allow this game.

Turn on Multiplayer to let a member play online with others

Enable Clubs so that a member can create and join Minecraft Realms servers.
