Ok lets call the xbox one x console 1 and the xbox one s is console 2

Your account is account 1

One kid is =account 2

One kid is account 3

Ok your account 1 makes console 2 its home console

Account 1-3 can use any games on console 2 and play online

Console 1 only your profile will be the roaming profile so.only account 1 can play online and use your game on that console 1 but must.be signed online

Only one console can be home console.and only the account with thr live membership will be able to use it on any console

So ideally you want to have only 2 accounts not a third one if you want them to play on two different consoles

If I'm understanding this correctly if Son #1 is using his Xbox One (the one that's set as my home console) to play and I sign into my gamertag on Son #2's Xbox and he also simultaneously signs into his gamertag would he be able to get the benefits of my
Xbox Live membership while he plays on his gamertag?

Currently only 2 of us would ever be playing at the same time since we only have 2 consoles.

This fixed my problem as well.

I have an xbox one x, xbox one s and a day one edition all 3 would not work today. All 3 have separate accounts and gave this error code. I cleared the xbox 360 local storage on only the xbox one x and it fixed all 3 consoles some how.

You could do it with two Xbox Live accounts and two lots of the games. Their are four of you, depending on how many consoles (Xbox Ones) you are thinking of adding, depends on how to do it. If you have four consoles, for instance, you have Xbox Live Gold,
so set child 1's console as your Home Xbox. They can then use your Xbox Live Gold and access your copies of the game. You set child 2 up with Xbox Live Gold, plus the second copy of the games and set child 3's console as Home Xbox. Child 2 and yourself can
sign in on your own Xbox and use Xbox Live and the games you have.
