I have 2 xbox accounts on one microsoft email

Well if you want to gain back access to an account I suggest doing the following: You need to use another account. Once you access the account, you should use it to login and select “forgot password.”

Choosing the “forgot password” option will send you a link to fill out some questions and information so Microsoft can verify that is your account, then you need to wait for Microsoft to contact you for more assistance and the recover your account!

I don't quite understand what you mean due to them being linked to the same microsoft account they have the same email and I can't login to the original, I did chose the forgot password option on the xbox page and I still can't login to the original account() and am only being logged into the newer one(BubbaDaPunk) though I may have not followed your instructions correctly since I didn't get any questions just what my email connected to my microsoft is and it sent a code there. I also believe since they are connected to the same microsoft account they have the same password.

I don't know exactly what you mean, do you mean the email from Microsoft account team that asks if the password change was me, because if not then I haven't received the email you speak of unless I need to wait longer.

No, the email address I want to use is the new one. I've already recovered my old account (this one) which is the one I want to keep, just attached to the new email address. I've created a new microsoft account and xbox account for the email I want to
use, but when I try to 'Change Microsoft Account' on my xbox it says the email doesn't have an xbox account. But I can use that email to log into the website and can use it on my xbox by downloading that profile.

so... email 1 is used for the "" account, and email 2 is newly set up with "Temporary Placeholder style name" account. I try to Change Microsoft account from email 1 to email 2, but it says there is no account on email 2.

The email on this account is only active temporarily and I am trying to change it to the new email so I do not loose my purchases.
