if the game you played on xbox 360 are physical copy it's normal that you will not find them on the xbox one!

but if the games are retrocompatible you can play it on xbox one with the disk inserted in the xbox one

The Xbox One is not backwards compatible so you can't play 360 games on it,physical copies or downloaded copies.

If you want to carry on using the games you've downloaded on your 360 then you will have to keep your 360 & use that to play them.

No, I did not purchase them digitally. I have physical copies of all my Xbox 360 games. I didn't start purchasing digitally until Xbox One since you have to install the game anyways.

So, I have the games already on my 360 but when I go to get them on my One they want to charge me. I don't understand this. All the 360 BC that I have on there now like Burnout, all 3 Bioshocks (360 versions) and a few more, I was not charged for.

So I am wondering why now I need to pay for games I already have for the 360 rather than the way it was before where I was not charged

You need to put your physical game disc in your XBOX One, then it should automatically start to download the game. Note that you'll need to insert the disc every time you want to play, just as you would on the 360.

I own around 180 on Xbox (physical), 450 on 360 (physical and digital), 12 physical Xbox One games, and the other 150 or so, digitally. Hard to keep a legitimate number, excluding the X1 Games with Gold titles. Really nice to see that the 360 ones, are

Depending on where you purchased the original 360 copies, you need to return the physical 360 copies to those locations for the $10 Xbox One values. If you purchased them digitally through the Xbox Live Marketplace, you already have the necessary licenses
to repurchase them on the Xbox One Live Marketplace for an additional $10. To answer your final question, you will be able to to use both licenses - 360 and ONE - at all times. This means if you bought Ghosts on 360, and subsequently upgrade to One, you will
still be able to play that game on 360.
