Free Xbox Live Week-end.

All players that do not have Gold can play online and chatting without having a Gold-Account.

Also refer to the Xbox Awards. If your country is Supported, you either can win some great prizes.

Your anger and frustrations are misdirected. The game developers are the ones that make these decisions not Microsoft. XBOX One supports split screen if the game itself offers it.
