You can only have 1 console set as your Home at a time. So anytime you change it, it will remove it from your console. You should only be setting your console as your Home.

If your friends have access to your account to do this, you should also change your password. Sharing account information and sharing outside of the home violates rules and puts you and your friends at risk for being banned.

Alright so i gameshare with my friends which are in the same household as i am. I set my xbox as home console on his account to play games however the next day it removed itself randomly as home console and i had to waste a switch in doing this. It did this again and again until i used up all my switches. After awhile i got a additional switch from xhox assist and the next day it randomly removed itself again. What is happening and can i possibly get one more switch ?

Have you asked your friend if he had tried setting a different friends Xbox as their home console? If so, doing so would remove your Xbox as their home console.

Ok so update I have got a family member we will call Family A that has the game I was looking for. The problem is when we do the home xbox thing it is still asking me for the person who has bought the game to be signed in, although I have removed friend

So I was game sharing with my friend and today it stopped gamesharing I could make him my home xbox because apparently ive done it five times can I have one more because its kind if xboxs fault that i cant game share right now

To add, gamesharing like you are is against the terms of service and not what the home xbox was meant for.

The home xbox feature is meant for sharing games that you own across up to two different consoles that you personally own. It was never meant for sharing games with friends so what you are doing could actually end up getting both you and your friend banned
if Microsoft catches on.

I know it's not because I thought in order to gameshare my xbox had be home on on my son's and his is home on mine. Can I set mine to home without removing my son's access to my library?
