MyVIP has a recalibration every year. This is explained in our FAQ. At the end of the year, we place you in your MyVIP rank for the new year based off your eligible spending from the previous year, and set your progress to the default state. This happened
in September 2015 and December 2016. Since you are a zero star member, you do not get payback Credits on your purchases. You can check your current MyVIP level/progress at (https://rewards.xbox.com/myrewards/).

The only pre-order offer we have had is the Games on Demand punchcard. Since you only purchased one eligible pre-order during the offer period, you did not complete the previous Games on Demand offer.

You have repeatedly requested a deposit every time you have reached the minimum requirement of 1000 pending Credits, as you can see on your MyStatement on the MyRewards page. This means your credits have been deposited into your Microsoft Account, where
they are listed as a refund on your commerce page at (https://commerce.microsoft.com/). For example, you used your most recent deposit on December 14th as partial payment for your Batman purchase last month.

i was earning new stars on hardcore. i started hardcore with 123 stars. i earned the star struck achievement. i kepted earning new stars but, the stars for unlocking tai stayed at 123. i beat a level and earn 4 stars, yet the stat ticker for unlocking tai
stayed at 123. it shows in campaign stats i have all those stars.

Same thing has happened with me and the new Lego Star Wars game but I haven’t got my money back £60 gone

Same here, 4 stars gone, pending 8,000+ points gone, 4 years in program gone!

I guess going by what Smwutches is saying, did you earn those stars from the period September 1, 2014 - August 31, 2015? If you had the stars before that, then maybe that's why you got taken back to 0?

Anyway, I agree that it should be consistent across the board, but it's also a warning that you shouldn't rely on the rewards program or the rebate if they can change things at will.
