Each Xbox profile can only be attached to One Microsoft (MS) account ever.

You can have multiple aliases attached to One MS account.

By what it is sounding like you attached your original Xbox profile to one of your parents email addresses and are now wanting to attach that Xbox profile to your Email address.

I am assuming the original email address that your parents have is still in use and that is quite impressive to have the same email address for 20 years like that. If I had the same email address for 20 years I do not think I would want to get rid of it
either.

I don't remember the message it gave, but it wasn't years of non-use, it was just over a year while I was deployed, and the account had Gold Renewal on it (turned off now some how). When I originally called Microsoft, they told me I had to remake a Gamertag,
and the email it was originally attached to is now attached to another account. They gave me a free 12 month Gametime code that applied to that new account, Gamertag for it is SKOJO but I just want to know what happened to AuSy or if it can be released and
I can get my Gamertag back.

As far as I know, the new gamertag, the , is attached to the same email. But when I looked at the Microsoft account, the original email that my original gamertag is also connected to my dad's email. I'm not really sure what went wrong where
or when, but I am trying to switch accounts.

For the sign in issues, I have recently updated my security. And I still cannot sign into my profile online because of the Microsoft account issue.

It became pretty clear what was causing the account compromises and it was EA's fault but they will never admit it. Origin/EA accounts where compromised and xbox live account info obtained due to alot of people using the same email/password combinations
for EA origin as they do forxbox live.

More than a few people affected by this admitted they had done just that.
