I got threatened to get hacked at 4:30 for jumping in to a Destiny Strike and then was.

So a bud and I were doing Vanguard Heroic Strikes and got put in a match with popers247. He looked to go ask once we joined. After a short bit, he messaged me saying "Leave or I will hack and ban this account."


After not giving into his demands before the end of the strike, he messaged me again:



After beating the strike, we left. We then went into a raid, sure thing 4:30pm came by and I was signed out of my account. I was able to gain control back. I did, when he first threatened me, change my passwords and was able to then lock my account down.
I did report both of his messages to me and his account, however, I was referred to by a friend to this forum for reporting his activity with my account.

You'll also be loosing out on the weekly discounts, plus some games although not strictly multiplayer, still require gold.

For example I think Destiny requires a gold account to do the strikes and raids, without a gold account Destiny would last most people a day at best, and even then they wouldn't be able to get up too level 30.
