I got the orange light of death and now I want to know if getting a fix it's worth it.

So, half a year ago my Xbox died, the orange light won't go away and the white light on the power brick would turn on for a second then fade to orange.

Fast forward to a couple of months, a friend of mine checks it and tells me there's a possible solution which involves buying two new IC chips, the thing is that, not only it is impossible to get a replacement for the original Xbox One model (Not S or X)
but it's also expensive to get the S one (which I'm not sure that can work) and now impossible with the quarantine.

My question is, if my console isn't entirely dead, can I buy a new IC chip for the S? What can i do? Is it even worth it or should I begin saving up for the Series X?

The best way to check is the Unit doesn’t need replacement is a Power Cycle, As mentioned in the first reply, i’d recommend going on there and check for issues if they are on there!

My new xbox wireless headset was working fine this morning but went to use it and it was stuck on a flashing orange light. Plugged it in and now it's stuck on a solid orange light. I have tried to hard reset the device but nothing is happening. Any suggestions?

I'm having a similar issue

I tried to charge my headset while listening to music

and now the light is stuck orange and it wont function at all now

cant listen to music, Cant even turn it on or off

I tried the reset thing (hold the power button and mute button) and literally Nothing happened

HAS ANYONE figured out how to fix this?

ye na when i plug it back in the light flashes orange for half a second then i got nothing
