I got somebody banned, have questions

Hey, i got somebody banned for pulling my ip (will not disclose who) but what is the punishment for that because i dont want him coming back in a month or 2 and booting me. Ik my ip static so what other solutions can i take if he is not perm banned.

technically he has done nothing wrong having your IP address as its public and if microsoft have banned this person then their must have been threatening messages from him or Microsoft has just banned someone with no evidence. if he kicks you off then that
is illegal but Microsoft cannot do anything about that as that would happen off their network so they can't see it.

IP pulling from parties is coming to an end soon as Microsoft is making party chat server based instead of P2P. The problem with this is the party chats can be monitored by Microsoft and possibly ban people for swearing in those chats too.

Same here. Gamertag . Did nothing and got a week communications ban for absolutely nothing. Applied for a review and nothing happened today. 10 year Xbox live veteran about to switch to PlayStation unless somebody from Xbox answers some questions

I was banned due to somebody spam reported me and i said that and got an automated response why is it so hard to talk to a real person

Because basically anything that hurts somebodys feelings will get you banned. A guy called me a qweer and i corrected him by putting **** and got banned because he reported it. These bans are gettong way out of hand. Is ps4 this strict?
