For anyone still struggling with this the thing that finally got mine to work is uninstalling the launcher and installing "Minecraft for Windows + Launcher" rather than just "Minecraft Launcher." I hope this helps.

So I went to my library, and the only things that were related to minecraft were the launcher and minecraft dungeons, no sign of minecraft for windows 10 there.
